The suspected shooter, a 44-year-old man, is expected to face charges of capital murder. The incident occurred when the shooter entered the store and engaged in a shootout with the police. Five women and two men were injured, with four still in the hospital, including one in critical condition. Two police officers were also wounded. The United States has experienced numerous mass shootings recently, with 24 recorded in the past week alone. Panicked shoppers hid in a freezer during the attack.
